Reference for death

[edit]

If the article I put up isn't good enough then maybe this [1] might be better? Also if I didn't put in the reference properly I apologise. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.20.225.232 (talk) 09:45, 18 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It is better. The Edge ref is on their front page, so is unlikely to be permanent. However, a (reliable) source that explicitly states the date of death would be better still. HrafnTalkStalk(P) 09:53, 18 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

In Brian Goodwin's Biography it is stated that he was at brighton University- in fact he was at the University of Suusex. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.232.249.86 (talk) 21:44, 23 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hope this obituary may help resolve the issue of "notability": http://www.independent.co.uk/news/obituaries/brian-goodwin-hugely-influential-and-insightful-biologist-philosopher-and-writer-1765240.html —Preceding unsigned comment added by 189.217.102.37 (talk) 23:33, 5 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This obituary in the Guardian should also resolve notability, and gives an explicit date of death as 15 July 2009 http://www.guardian.co.uk/theguardian/2009/aug/09/brian-goodwin-obituary --CathrynSymons (talk) 11:31, 10 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
