England/Britain
[edit]There has been an attack recently on those of us who have had the sense to recognise the Act of Union 1707, saying that england, wales, scotland and northern ireland are on country; the United Kingdom. The flag that represents the United Kingdom is the Union Jack, as the picture on the artice shows, this is correct. But it then contradicts itself saying that he is from England! razza 18:53, 13 April 2007 (UTC)
Self-Promotion Article
[edit]Is Wikipedia supposed to be a self-promotion website? Why is there a URL link to this inconsequential person "Toby"? Is Wikipedia an offspring promotion site? Stevenmitchell (talk) 18:20, 16 August 2010 (UTC)
Incorrect redirect
[edit]A search for Toby Froud incorrectly redirects to this page. Toby Froud is an actor/director/special effects artist, and the son of Brian Froud. His IMDb page can be found here: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0296614/
I was seeking information about him after reading an article about the film Yamasong (http://www.themarysue.com/yamasong-march-of-the-hollows-trailer/). The film comes up in Wikipedia search results, but not with its own page. I'm a bit too new at this to feel confident creating new pages.
Is anyone more familiar with page creation up for starting new pages for Toby Froud and Yamasong? And once that's done, removing the incorrect redirect to this page? Cheers and thanks. Indigotraveler (talk) 11:21, 7 May 2015 (UTC)
