[edit]I just created this page. However I just checked out the 'what links here' tab and discovered the majority of the links are meant for someone who seems to be a wrestling promotor, three are for the Brian Dixon in this article (footballer/politican), and one is for a musician. Can someone please create an disambiguation page - this task is beyond my skills at this point. Regards Teiresias84 14:58, 20 May 2006 (UTC)

Melbourne cycling network
[edit]There is a reference in the Letters page of The Age today (15/6/2007) to Brian Dixon being instrumental to the creation of the cycling trail network Melbourne now enjoys. If this is true and can be sourced, it would be an useful addition to this page. Icd 00:04, 15 June 2007 (UTC)
- Although I haven't seen a reference to this, it does certainly sounds like something Dixon would have done. Maybe I might be able to find something in hansard. Do you know if the letter referenced any particular dates? Teiresias84 10:57, 15 June 2007 (UTC)
- Only roughly. "These trails are a tribute to the foresight of Brian Dixon in the Hamer government of the 1970s, and since, to the tireless work of state and local governments, together with the indefatigable energies of community groups such as Bicycle Victoria." Icd 01:08, 18 June 2007 (UTC)
