NPOV and Vandalism
[edit]I deleted the following from the opening paragraph due to it's lack of citation, lack of neutrality, and inappropriate placement. A more objective, referenced discussion of Birdwell's position on the issue and reaction of specific veterans' associations might be better placed under a heading such as "Criticism" or "Controversy":
- Birdwell has recently come to fame (2015) among Texas Veterans for repealing portions of the Hazlewood Act that once promised that the children of Texas Veterans would get free in-state tuition. He is the least liked Senator by Texas Veterans Associations.
Wikipedia is clearly not the place for firing broadsides aimed at biographical subjects.A.T.S. in Texas (talk) 04:27, 19 May 2015 (UTC)
I deleted the following after a referenced description of subject's bill cutting veteran's benefits because it violates NPOV:
- Showing him to be a true Blue Falcon.
A referenced quotation of someone calling Birdwell a "blue falcon" would not violate NPOV; a Wikipedia writer inserting this description clearly violates NPOV. A.T.S. in Texas (talk) 03:18, 31 May 2015 (UTC)
I deleted another NPOV violation by Plowboy1987 listing Brian Birdwell's occupation as "Blue Falcon," military slang for buddy-fucker. Plowboy1987 previously described Birdwell as a "true Blue Falcon" in the text of the article. A.T.S. in Texas (talk) 03:07, 5 June 2015 (UTC)
