Skin tone

[edit]

I was going to reference his parents' claim that he has the same skin tone as Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, but after comparing the two of them on google image search, I can report that this is nonsense. Their son looks white and Tsonga looks pale-mixed-race/part-African. However pointing out the baselessness of this claim in the article would be original research. What weird inversion of racial attitudes makes them delude themselves that their son doesn't look white when he does? Until they spoke up, so far as I can tell it didn't cross anyone's mind that he wasn't pure-bred Caucasian either in the black Caribbean or mainly white Australia. He could get into the KKK no question asked. I would be surprised if he is more than one 16th black, and he could easily be less. Greg Grahame (talk) 18:46, 4 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Point taken, and have to agree that his skin tone is not the same as Tsonga's; for those who don't know what Nash looks like (as there is currently no free image available for the article) here are a couple of photos [1] [2] [3]. Unfortunately, pointing this out would constitute original research. At the moment, I think it should not be included. It might be best to use an image from cricinfo.com with a fair use rationale and leave it to the reader to decide. Nev1 (talk) 22:32, 4 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
