[edit]

I created this page because the main article on Breakfast at Tiffany's needed to be disambiguated.

I chose to leave the main article to be about the movie, because in contemporary culture it is clearly the most widely used and most well known usage for the term--this is attested by (1) a google search (2) that the movie has clearly overtaken the novella in popularity and in the consciousness of the public (3) Audrey Hepburn's portrayal of Holly Golightly has become an iconic role in both cinema history and popular culture. Phrases from the movie entered into general usage as early as the sixties.

For the page about the play, I cut and pasted the section about it from the movie page.

I did the same for the page about the novella.

Someone had already created a page for the song. --Sp3lly 15:03, 12 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Classed as a stub as the Novel element of this article is nearly missing - should be enhanced and maybe hived off to a seperate article. :: Kevinalewis : (Talk Page)/(Desk) 09:07, 28 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
