Answering your question the other one internationally known is the Fila Brasileiro (Brazilian Mastiff)
I took out the "one of only two breeds of dog developed in Brazil", first because it's not correct, there are more breeds developed in Brazil they are just not known outside the country ( the Brazilian Terrier is an example of this, it's been around in Brazil for hundreds of years and only recently has acquired international recognition). And second because it would lead to the question above. I did not think it right to put a link to the Fila's page because I don't think that's how they're organized ( there's not link to the American Bulldog on the American Pit Bull Terrier page and so on). Maybe someone can add a category for Brazilian dog breeds.
