Comments

[edit]
  • "of The Simpsons thirteenth season." Add apostrophe
  • "In the episode, the Simpsons are arrested" -> Simpson family (w/wikilink)
  • "caused by The Evil Republican Party's latest decision" Looks to violate NPOV
  • Wikilink characters in plot section. Also, ref 7 has a [ ] issue
  • "He tries to sleep in Santa's Little Helper's kennel, but ends up getting it stuck to his head and spends the rest of the night trying to get it off." I would assume you mean the doorway gets stuck to his head, right?
  • "remains show runner to this day." Showrunner is one word, and has a wikilink. Also, "to this day" sounds unencyclopedic, so perhaps reword
  • IMDb is not a suitable source. Try citing TV Guide instead (the site typically has guest star information)
Thanks for the suggestion! However, TV Guide's article on the episode doesn't mention Kaczmarek at all and wrongly credits Ron Taylor for the voice of Gabriel, so I'll use DVD Verdict as source instead.
  • Wikilink certain publishers (The A.V. Club, Environmental Media Awards etc)
  • "nominated for an Environmental Media Awards in the category" The EMA should be singular (or change "for an" to "at the")
  • The Nate Boss quote needs a quotation mark at the end of the sentence
  • "Andre Dellamorte of Collider though negatively of the episode " though -> thought
  • Sentences with quotes end with citations (you did a great job mostly with this, but there was one you missed in the reception section)
  • On the talkpage there are some cultural refs that should be cited and added to the article
I left them out since I could not find any reliable sources that mention them.

I'll place the article on hold for seven days while everything gets looked at. Thanks, Ruby2010 comment! 02:44, 2 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the review! I think I've fixed all the problems now. Queenieacoustic (talk) 16:36, 2 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
EW, IGN, and any others with articles should also be wikilinked. So you weren't able to find any suitable citations discussing the episode's cultural references? That's odd (usually you're so good at finding them!) Otherwise the article looks great, but I just need feedback on one minor issue. I haven't seen this episode in a long time, but is it explicitly stated the Republican party is responsible for the environmental policy? I wouldn't be surprised (the writers are pretty liberal), but I just wanted to make sure before I approve the article (NPOV etc). Thanks, Ruby2010 comment! 19:49, 2 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Argh, how could I miss that! I'm pretty sure the article looks fine now, unless I completely missed something else. Nope, I couldn't find any mention of the references anywhere, not even in the commentary (although it mostly consisted of Delroy Lindo sounding confused). Thanks! Yes, the Republican party are responsible for the environmental disasters in the episode (they discuss the matter in a castle taken right from an old horror film). Thanks again for the review! :) Queenieacoustic (talk) 21:57, 2 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Sounds good (just wanted to check). Pass for GA. Nice work! Ruby2010 comment! 02:53, 3 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
