Happy to offer a review. J Milburn (talk) 21:26, 1 December 2014 (UTC)
- Was it not released as a single in NZ/Australia? The fact it charted in NZ suggests that it was.
- Every non-single song from the EP/Pure Heroine charted in New Zealand. (For example, "The Love Club" charted at #17 on the RMNZ despite being a non-single song) Simon (talk) 08:40, 2 December 2014 (UTC)
- "At a point of the song, she confessed "to a battle between shyness and show-business aspirations": "I learned not to want/ The quiet of the room with no one around to find me out/ I want the applause the approval the things that make me go"." I find this a little difficult to follow. As you are citing several lines, how about putting it as a blockquote (there'll be a template somewhere which is good for extracts from songs/poems)
- Done. Thanks for the suggestion. Simon (talk) 10:40, 3 December 2014 (UTC)
- "from the EP." Which EP? It was on two
- I can see that this has already been fixed. Simon (talk) 10:40, 3 December 2014 (UTC)
- I wouldn't normally bother giving the publishers of periodicals, but as you are giving them, I note that "Jenkin, Lydia (2013-09-19). "Joel Little: Doing the Lorde's work". The New Zealand Herald. Retrieved 2013-12-30." lacks one.
- Oh I forgot to add the publisher to it. Thanks. Simon (talk) 10:40, 3 December 2014 (UTC)
- I note that on the Lorde template (and also the categories?) this is listed a "just" a song, rather than a single.
- Well it is just a promotional single, thus it belongs to the category "Other songs" (Like "Buzzcut Season"). Simon (talk) 08:40, 2 December 2014 (UTC)
- I'm left wondering about live performances- has this been on the setlist in any tours?
Here are some more bits you may or may not be able to incorporate:
- The West Australian (Perth) // July 7, 2014 Monday // She's so good it's sick 3.5; CONCERT Lorde Challenge Stadium Saturday, July 5 REVIEW SIMON COLLINS // SECTION: TOD; Pg. 2
I'm faking glory, Lorde sings in Bravado, one of several prescient songs penned before her star ascended. Lick my lips, toss my hair and turn the smile on.
- Added. Simon (talk) 10:40, 3 December 2014 (UTC)
- This was apparently written in 2012, which should be worked in
- Added. Simon (talk) 10:40, 3 December 2014 (UTC)
- Seems she has opened a lot of concerts with this one (I can give references if you like). Was this a proper tour?
- Added. Simon (talk) 11:11, 3 December 2014 (UTC)
- MX (Australia) // April 11, 2013 Thursday // 1 - Melbourne Edition // SPINNING AROUND // BYLINE: Andrea Beattie, Nick Mason, Rikki-Lee Arnold, Tyson Wray, Paul McBride // SECTION: CITYBEAT; Pg. 17
- 4/5 (Have you got this one in the EP article, by the way?)
NEW Zealand's Ella Yelich-O'Connor, aka Lorde, is an artistic teenager set to make serious waves. Hypnotic opener Biting Down ensures an exciting first impression, its whirring coolly underscores a captivating mantra. Bravado targets straightforward pop, its staggered electronic beats drenched in heavenly harmonies (a chief hallmark of the EP). Royals emerges an infectious yet understated anthem with more potential than perhaps Yelich-O'Connor realises. Reminiscent of Grimes and M.I.A., Royals has the makings of high-calibre commercial pop. Later, a choir laps at the saccharine swagger of Lorde's title-track, making for a light-hearted finale. Only Million Dollar Bills, a frivolous ditty on auto-pilot, could be considered a minor misfire. Although far from terrible, it is the black sheep of the EP, lacking impact alongside Yelich-O'Connor's best work. As a whole, though, The Love Club is a strong, rock-solid debut release. You can't help but feel excited for whatever else is in store. Here, Yelich-O'Connor has achieved something outstanding: she displays stunning maturity beyond her years, crafting magnificent and inventive pop music. When a 16-year-old accomplishes something this good, it actually makes you feel a little silly. Highly recommended. (Universal)

I've made a good few edits- do have a look. J Milburn (talk) 22:22, 1 December 2014 (UTC)
- I think I have addressed all of your concerns above. Thank you. Simon (talk) 11:00, 4 December 2014 (UTC)
- J Milburn, any other comments? Snuggums (talk / edits) 06:16, 7 December 2014 (UTC)
- Sorry I didn't see this sooner; I will have another look through within the week. If I haven't got to this by the coming Sunday, you have my permission to turn up on my talk page with pitchforks. J Milburn (talk) 18:13, 7 December 2014 (UTC)

Some more comments:
- The rationale on the sample needs to be strengthened.
- I have added a bit to the rationale. How does it look now? Simon (talk) 02:17, 14 December 2014 (UTC)
- "as the two best tracks from the EP." I mentioned this previously?
- Oops I totally forgot it. It is fixed now. Simon (talk) 02:10, 14 December 2014 (UTC)
- Why is this in the synthpop category? Synthpop isn't mentioned.
- Synthpop and Electropop are the same. Simon (talk) 02:10, 14 December 2014 (UTC)
- There's some inconsistency concerning reference formatting- sometimes you list the publishers of periodicals, sometimes not (I wouldn't bother...)
and sometimes you give the publisher location, sometimes not.
- Removed the locations. Simon (talk) 02:10, 14 December 2014 (UTC)
It's coming together. I'm not really a big fan of these kinds of "just notable" song articles, but this isn't far from being about as good as it can be. J Milburn (talk) 17:33, 13 December 2014 (UTC)
- I have added a little more to the rationale (leaving "NA" doesn't strike me as ideal!) but I'm happy that this article is now about as good as it's going to get- I am happy to promote to GA. Keep it up! J Milburn (talk) 16:04, 17 December 2014 (UTC)
