Background info on redlinked articles
[edit]MOS:DABRL says "Red links should not be the only link in a given entry; link also to an existing article, so that a reader (as opposed to a contributing editor) will have somewhere to navigate to for additional information. The linked article should contain some meaningful information about the term." I've managed to link Branner-Hicks House to the National Register of Historic Places listings in Jefferson County, Tennessee article, but had no luck with
- Benjamin Manassah Branner (1805–1879), Confederate lieutenant colonel, leader of a Tennessee cavalry battalion ([1])
- Hans Christian Branner (1850–1922), author [2]
FYI those reference links were from Charmii's original version of the DAB page: useful, but prohibited by WP:DABSTYLE. - Pointillist (talk) 18:24, 18 November 2009 (UTC)
