CEBA loans to Small Business due in December 2023
[edit]Hi I'm a small business owner in Beaumont, Ab. I have a retail Home Decor/ Paint/ Window Coverings business, Angie's Home Accents. In order to keep a full-time person in my store, I needed to take the 2 loans the Government offered as my landlord wouldn't help me with the monthly rent during COVID and people weren't buying blinds during this pandemic. I have still not recovered from this 2 year farce. I was hoping that the Government would reduce the $40,000 payback or at least give us more time to pay it back. I have not taken a pay cheque in 5 years now.
