Seniority with the Tigers
[edit]It should be noted that Brandon is currently the Tiger with the most seniority: he has been with the Tiger organization a sevral years longer than any other current player (including Justin Verlander). As such: he was with the Tigers during some very dismal seasons, and thus has been with them during 'the worst of times and the best of times'. Also, and this won't show up in stats: this guy has 'heart', and has been an inspiration to fellow team members and kids growing up who want to be pro baseball players. Notable(?) Athletic Prowess
[edit]So, I've heard pretty incredible things about this guy, beyond being an MLB catcher (10.5s 100m dash, can run a marathon, can dunk a basketball at 5'11", hit a golf ball 360 yds, can play all 9 positions on a baseball field, 95 MPH fastball). Anyone have sources for this stuff? Assuming sources are found, is this notable?

- I'm pretty sure Curtis Granderson mentioned his dunking ability in his blog. If that counts as a source, I'll try and find the link.

"Below average offense"
[edit]I think we need to provide a source that SAYS Inge has below average offense. Taking his career statistics and drawing that opinion is WP:Original research and should not be on Wikipedia. Note that since this article is about a person, "Biographical material must be written with the greatest care and attention to verifiability, neutrality and avoiding original research", according to WP:BLP. — X96lee15 (talk) 15:16, 18 September 2008 (UTC)
- Agreed. That's such an abstract statement anyway. --TrafficHaze (talk) 18:24, 18 September 2008 (UTC)
Height
[edit]Really just a random question, but how tall is this guy, really? I know he's billed at 5'11", but like most pro athletes, I'm sure this is taller than he really is. What would your guys' guess be? He looks 5'9ish" to me, to be honest.
Strikeouts in infobox

Neutral point of view
[edit]Intro paragraph skews less neutral than opinionated... "over-rated" and "tries to bat." Can someone mark this for editing to be made more neutral? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.111.167.66 (talk) 19:58, 1 April 2012 (UTC)

Poor brandon, i hope he stays in Detroit. Everybody has there ups and downs i guess brandon had his downs last year. He was amazing at defense with those spectacular plays like when he dived into the stands in Seattle. I hope he doesnt go:( |
