[edit]@Daniel Case: requesting the following plot to be added
In the 17th century, Thevan, a folk singer, flees from slave traders and seeks refuge in a forest with his friend Kora. While there, they encounter a succubus, who takes away Kora, leading to his disappearance. Lost and weary, Thevan stumbles upon a seemingly abandoned mansion, where he encounters its enigmatic owner, Manakkal Kodumon Potti, and his cook. Despite initially declining Potti's offer of shelter, Thevan reluctantly agrees to stay the night.
During his stay, Thevan discovers unsettling truths about Potti and the mansion, including strange noises and a chained being in the upper floor. As Thevan attempts to leave, Potti challenges him to a fateful game of dice, with freedom at stake. The outcome forces Thevan to remain in the mansion indefinitely.
Suspicious of Potti's true nature, Thevan learns about the mansion's dark history from the cook, involving a cursed goblin known as Chaathan. As Thevan attempts to escape, he suffers mysterious injuries and loses his memory. He soon realizes he's been trapped in the mansion for months.
With the help of the cook, Thevan uncovers the truth about Potti's lineage and the malevolent Chaathan. Together, they devise a plan to defeat the Chaathan and escape the mansion. After a perilous confrontation, Thevan emerges victorious, but at a cost.
The revelation of Thevan's true fate and the arrival of Portuguese invaders ends the tale with future possibilities.
