Requested move 5 December 2019
[edit]- The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review after discussing it on the closer's talk page. No further edits should be made to this discussion.
The result of the move request was: Moved as proposed. Per consensus. (non-admin closure) – Ammarpad (talk) 07:02, 14 December 2019 (UTC)
- Brain Game (1972 TV program) → Brain Game (1972 game show)
- Brain Game (1997 TV program) → Brain Game (1997 game show)
- University Challenge (New Zealand TV series) → University Challenge (New Zealand game show)
- Spit It Out (TV series) → Spit It Out (game show)
– The nominated articles are all placed in Category:Student quiz television series but use different styles of disambiguation. Quiz show redirects to Game show, and WP:NCTV says to use "(game show)" as disambiguation for such shows. Other articles in the category already disambiguated with "(game show)" include Blackboard Jungle (game show) (which I moved), It's Academic (Australian game show) and On the Spot (American game show). Gonnym (talk) 16:09, 5 December 2019 (UTC)
- Support, in the absence of other evidence. (If other evidence is forthcoming, then disambiguate all with "TV program"...) --IJBall (contribs • talk)
- Support, this sounds logical and has been presented with similar articles in mind. SatDis (talk) 07:19, 10 December 2019 (UTC)
- The above discussion is preserved as an archive of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on this talk page or in a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.
Butler vs WTHR studios
[edit]"Until 2008 the show was filmed at the Fairbanks Center at Butler University."
As a BG contestant 1996-2000 I can attest this statement is not accurate. All my shows were filmed at WTHR. 198.51.61.247 (talk) 22:52, 30 June 2023 (UTC)
