Vidya=Science, The use of the word Knowledge is an inaccurate translation and common mistake

"Science" is only one of many meanings of the "vidya" root, and the major commonality of them is more about knowledge than about "science". You'll need a specific ref that actually makes this full claim you are making, not your own attempt at derivation from choosing among the parts. DMacks (talk) 13:12, 30 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
