Copyright violation
Every version of this article since its creation has been a cut-and-paste copyright violation. I've stubbed it and started rebuilding it from scratch. Any attempts to reintroduce the copyvio material WILL be reverted. Blueboy96 17:14, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
I did a review of your copyright infringement claims and found little to none, and as such have reverted the page back to its previous version. Instead of scrapping the page and trying to build a new one, lets be proactive and help everyone out by finding sources and writing citations, rather than undoing other people's work. --Kookamunga187 (talk) 16:25, 3 January 2010 (UTC)
Rebuilding
There are sources out there for this article and I am trying to improve it. Any help is welcomed. JodyB talk 18:36, 23 February 2010 (UTC)
Thank you JodyB for reviving the article. In a short period of time it has seen a large amount of edits and reverts. This is the Wikipedia page of a political candidate. To reduce the chances of a further edit war, I feel we ought to apply some form of protection to the article. (see protection policy) Also, I ask all editors to carefully scrutinize their information and use only top tier sources, such as major newspapers, nonpartisan media, and national news outlets. Verdad (talk) 20:59, 23 February 2010 (UTC)
- I don't see any reason for protection. The idea of Wikipedia is to be the encyclopedia anyone can edit. I've got the article on my watch list and will be keeping an eye out as I am sure others will too. If things get bad we can protect but right now I don't think so. JodyB talk 21:41, 23 February 2010 (UTC)
Date of Party Switch
The article noted that Byrne switched parties in 1998 but that is not what the newspaper sources say. It was 1997. I have made the change but if someone has another idea or source we can look at it. JodyB talk 23:16, 23 February 2010 (UTC)
Byrne as Campaign Manager
The Miami Herald quotes Bradley Byrne as the campaign manager for Frank McRight in 1984. It was in the Miami Herald, November 1, 1984 on page A19. You reverted sourced material from a reliable source What do you have to back that up? JodyB talk 22:20, 9 March 2010 (UTC).
Can you provide a link to the article? My search turned up nothing Kookamunga187 (talk) 23:51, 15 March 2010 (UTC)
- I use Nexis for searches of old newspaper articles. I think you would probably have to visit a library which has archives of the herald. Even if the article was online it would be in an archive and would probably require a paid access but the library would not. Thanks. JodyB talk 00:07, 16 March 2010 (UTC)
- BTW, if you like I can email you the Nexis article if that would help. Email me via my page. JodyB talk 21:48, 18 March 2010 (UTC)

Coronavirus Relief Bill
Can this page mention Jordan's vote against the Coronavirus Relief Bill? [1] Harry mattison (talk) 19:54, 14 March 2020 (UTC)
- Absent some other context the vote on a single bill is almost always UNDUE. In particular, absent any understanding why the politician voted for/against a bill it's hard to say it better informs the reader. Springee (talk) 12:38, 18 March 2020 (UTC)
