Origin of town name.
[edit]I Moved to Bozoo WV, Summers County half, in 1978. Bozoo had a post office/general store then. The post master told me that when the founders applied for the post office, a name was needed. Every name submitted was already taken. Out of frustration, the made up name was submitted and accepted. Mandeville, originally a family that owned a very large farm, was part of the Summers county part of Bozoo. Mandeville farm was split up and my parents bought the section which had the original Mandeville house. The house was hit by a tornado which tore off the second story. 2601:5C0:C380:D3D0:3125:B767:3A17:3BAA (talk) 03:31, 17 July 2022 (UTC)
