Proposed merge with Love Equation
[edit]Boys' Record is a single album containing a single ("Love Equation") and two B-sides, which aren't notable as far as I know. I don't think there is enough information about Boys' Record and "Love Equation" to have two separate articles. Both articles are very short and lack reliable sources, and most songs don't merit a separate article. Random86 (talk) 07:01, 11 April 2015 (UTC)
Merger?
[edit]I'm not sure if I am doing this correctly, I'm still pretty new to wikipedia. Anyway, I don't mind if we merge Boys' Record with Love Equation I just created the articles separately recently since they haven't been made at all since the release of Boys' Record and I wanted to do it and other VIXX songs had their own article. If we go about doing the merger, can we just transfer the informations from Love Equation to Boys Record? Alicia leo86 (talk) 07:20, 11 April 2015 (UTC)
- @Alicia leo86: Since you don't mind, I can merge them now since I've done quite a few merges. Then, you can continue to improve and add to the merged article. :) Other VIXX songs are likely to be merged to albums as well, not just this one. Random86 (talk) 07:31, 11 April 2015 (UTC)
- @Random86: It kind of sucks but if it has to be done by wikipedia standards and rules, I cannot complain. lol Also can I ask why the information about Re.f's original track was taken away from Love EQuation? Alicia leo86 (talk) 07:34, 11 April 2015 (UTC)
- @Alicia leo86: If you look at the page history, you will see why changes were made. Some information was removed because it was a copyright violation (copyvio). You may want to read WP:Copy-paste and WP:Close paraphrasing. Random86 (talk) 05:56, 12 April 2015 (UTC)
- @Random86: Oh yes, I understand. thank you. :) Alicia leo86 (talk) 06:51, 12 April 2015 (UTC)
- @Random86: Sorry, If I am annoying you but just one more question. Where it says The story being told by VIXX is how they overcome their breakups and move forward to the future.[citation needed] are these okay for a citation? http://www.koreaboo.com/video/vixx-releases-mv-teaser-title-track-love-equation/ http://www.soompi.com/2015/02/20/vixx-releases-teaser-for-love-equation/ Alicia leo86 (talk) 07:04, 12 April 2015 (UTC)
- Don't worry; your questions aren't annoying me. :) Soompi and Koreaboo are not considered reliable sources by WikiProject Korea (see WP:KO/RS for more details). K-pop articles on Wikipedia still have lots of sources that need to be replaced, and it would be better if you didn't add more. Random86 (talk) 07:27, 12 April 2015 (UTC)
- Oh boy, so many K-pop/Korean related articles have Soompi and Allkpop and Koreaboo listed as sources. Sucks that they aren't reliable. It definitely brings the list down to a minimal to find better sources. Thanks for the link to the reliable sources, I will try and keep that in mind. Alicia leo86 (talk) 09:47, 12 April 2015 (UTC)
