50 Kilogram and 60 Kilogram are technical term for refer to the quality of steel and specifically the ductility .
The French navy usued three grade of steel , the50 Kg" mild steel , the '60 Kg " who is an hight tensile steel and the "80 kg " for the armor grade steel ( mostly the turrets of battleships ) .
Hight tensile steel , exactly like the Ducol ( interesting to note ) become popular during the interwar for save weight , it was typically usued on light armor ( gun shield ) and bulkhead .
I recomand to use "mild steel " and "hight tensile steel " and to note the similarity the Ducol ( it's a brand ) and the "bullet proof" issue ( it's interesting ) .
