@DarkGlow: I've made some minor revisions to the history section of the page, adding a few references in the process, but can I ask for further guidance regarding the refimprove tag? The article already had inline citations to a small number of scholarly sources throughout, so it's hard to tell what other issues to address.

@Robert Prazeres: I added the tag because there were only three sources, but I'd say your additions have added to the verifiability of its notability significantly.
