I ran the Boston Computer Society Social Impact subgroup for several years before BCS folded. I would be cool to have a list of all the subgroups, what they did and what happened to them on this page. If you have info on this, let's add it. Familywells 20:38, 3 August 2007 (UTC) Ian Wells
I was a part of the BCS New Media Group, ran a study for the BCS Board on usage of the Resource Center, and served on the Real Estate committee searching for a new home for the BCS. I attended several Board meetings and organized a meeting of BCS Activists to hear their suggestions for improvements. Mostly, they wanted Bob Grenoble to resign. I have several old newletters and other documents, which I can mine for suitable Wikipedia material. The current links are not working. I will find better references with stable URLs. I met today with Jonathan Rotenberg, who brought the 10th Anniversary issue of Computer Update with a great history of BCS. I used it to make corrections today. Cmsreview (talk) 18:29, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
