[edit]IMO, relations of two mid-sized countries, who each share the largest part of their border with the other, are inherently notable. —Admiral Norton (talk) 21:14, 5 April 2009 (UTC)
Not really... They already have their own articles, this is just a content fork, and I rather doubt the two country's diplomatic relations are particularly significant. --Pstanton (talk) 21:21, 5 April 2009 (UTC)
- I live in Croatia and from my experience in reading newspapers I can confirm that this will become more than just a content copy. I will be able to prove it at least on Tuesday (I won't have much time before that). —Admiral Norton (talk) 21:35, 5 April 2009 (UTC)
- Agreed, this is a highly notable relationship. Of course there's been a rash of AfDs for Country A - Country B relations lately, but this is nothing like that. These two countries have significant issues and lots of history. Cool3 (talk) 23:35, 5 April 2009 (UTC)
Correct Name
[edit]According to the naming guidelines of WP:WPFR, articles on relations between countries should the adjective forms in the name. So, I suppose that would technically make this Croatian-Bosnian and Herzegovinan relations, but that's one heck of a mouthful. What about Bosnian-Croatian relations instead? Or should we just ignore all rules and leave it at the present name? Cool3 (talk) 23:42, 5 April 2009 (UTC)
- I'm afraid that IAR is the "least evil" here. We might elect to use just "Bosnian", but, as I said on WT:WPFR, it is used to refer either to the Bosnian language (as in Differences between standard Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian), inhabitants of Bosnia proper (as in Bosnian Serbs or, less frequently, to Bosna River. —Admiral Norton (talk) 12:02, 6 April 2009 (UTC)
- Yes, I think you're right. I've often sees "Bosnian" used in the context "Bosnian government", but that would tend to refer to the Federation and exclude the Republika Srpska. Cool3 (talk) 17:00, 6 April 2009 (UTC)

[edit]Someone should make a new infobox map. Bosnia and Herzegovina needs to be on the left side as per alphabetical order. --Wustenfuchs 14:24, 16 July 2012 (UTC)
