Count 1 to 28, 29 to 48

Is the article correct in denominating the 1965 and 2011 annual conventions Boskone 1 and Boskone 48? That implies two in one year or a skip in the count.

It may help pin this down to say regarding Roman and Arabic numerals that the former were used through Boskone XXVIII in 1991 or 1992; Arabic from Boskone 29 in 1992 or 1993.

... (minutes later) This seems to turn on Boskone 3, at MIT in October 1966, organized by the MIT rather than the Boston society. The stub now oddly mentions conventions 1, 2, and 4 organized by the Boston society.
