[edit]I think there are a lot of false informations!
The ruins, today often called Bordj el Berod/Baroud, are maybe not the correct name.
Bordj el Baroud was a other massiv building near the coast, destroyed in 1933 for city development. It was used for gun powder ( better outside the town..) There are pictures from 1913, described correct as Bordj el Baroud. See Informations from Lakhdar Omar http://mogador7.forumactif.com/t908-petite-histoire-de-borj-al-baroud-ou-borj-al-oued
The correct name of the ruins on the Beach is (realy ?? ) Bordj al Qued, there are a painting from 1906, and a old navigation map from 1767. But - nowhere I see a original discription with this name, mit on the painting and not on the map. also vist:http://mogador7.forumactif.com/t908-petite-histoire-de-borj-al-baroud-ou-borj-al-oued
I think it is nessasary to contact Mr. Lakhdar Oman to reverence it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.119.173.130 (talk) 10:21, 3 September 2014 (UTC)
