Was Boris pushed out of the Yak and Yeti by his partners?

[edit]

When traveling in Nepal several years ago, I heard a rumor that, late in his life, Lisanevich had been more-or-less swindled out of his share in the hotel by his (I think, Indian, though possibly Nepali) partners, and that he and his widow ended their lives in near-penury. Is anyone able to confirm or refute this account? Nandt1 (talk) 13:42, 13 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Further to my own query above, this reference does seem to confirm that, late in life, he lost control of the business: http://nepalitimes.com/news.php?id=10754. But more details would be helpful. Nandt1 (talk) 14:49, 13 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
