Per request from kwami, I added English translations to the Swedish quotes. I think these should be considered reasonable accurate as I have tried to take in consideration that they are from the mid-18th century.
Not that "borgare" has numerous meanings, but in 1747 it would mainly refer to someone who lived in a town or city. Could possible mean "merchant" or the something like that.
