Globalize and create a new United States-specific article?

[edit]

{{Globalize|date=February 2017|2=USA|2name=a debated United States–related tax measure}} I think this merits its own page Border-adjustment tax (United States) but it may be considered to be recentism. Any thoughts on this User talk:BlaueBlüte User talk:FriyMan User:Postcard Cathy User talk:Ladsgroup ? [edit]

I created Border-adjustment tax (United States) in response to the globalize maintenance template. I will work on removing duplications.Oceanflynn (talk) 20:42, 18 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Some Proposed Changes

[edit]

Hello, I am employed by Boston University's Fineman & Pappas Law Libraries. After reviewing this Wikipedia page, I believe that information from one of our faculty's scholarship might provide a valuable addition to this page. I would appreciate it if this requested edit could be reviewed.

Following explanation for border-adjustment tax, it might be useful to include an example about how such taxes may be used: The use of border-adjustment tax has been proposed as a tool for creating climate legislation.[1] Specifically, such legislation could entail movements imposing a border taxes or requiring importers to give up a specific amount of carbon permits.[2]

I am not confident that a single paper can be construed as notable academic support or even accepted trust in the concept of BCA as a sustainable or even viable climate legislative tool. Seems like a stretch to me.Ferkijel (talk) 06:14, 30 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
