Moonlighting pornographer?
[edit]Uh, no mention of the fact that this guy published anonymous erotic novels on the side? 119.12.107.55 (talk) 10:11, 7 February 2013 (UTC)

The assertion that Borden, my father's best friend, had four children needs further verification. I knew his three children with Babs, my mother's cousin, in the 1950's. In 1983, he attended a retrospective on Hudson Strode's creative writing class at the University of Alabama and spoke to my parents and me of his three grown children. 24.30.125.165 11:24, 23 March 2007 (UTC)Sarah Tillery Caldwell24.30.125.165 11:24, 23 March 2007 (UTC) |

- At least two sources state Deal had four children: an unnamed daughter from his brief first marriage to Lillian Slobotsky (variously spelled Lilian Slobotzky), followed by one son and two daughters from his second marriage to Babs Hodges. There seem to be no online traces of the first daughter. Some sources also fail to mention his third wife Patricia (with whom he had no children).--Muzilon (talk) 09:03, 6 January 2018 (UTC)
