Plant short inline citation
[edit]user:Robinvp11 thank you for this edit unfortunately you forgot to add a long citation in the references section to support the short inline one. Please could you add it. Is this it:
- Plant, David (25 August 2008). "The Sealed Knot". BCWProject. [better source needed]
A "better source" is needed because Plant is not a reliable source. Also this type of citation error, where a short citation is not supported with a long one, is often caused by copying text from one Wikipedia article to another. If this is the case here, please include the appropriate inline attribution in the edit history (see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia#Other reasons for attributing text). -- PBS (talk) 20:09, 17 January 2021 (UTC)
- I'd like to see the rationalisation for the claim 'Plant is not a reliable source.' It is a long and well established online resource used extensively by others (not just me) and as someone who specialises in 17th century history, I have yet to find any serious factual error. Perhaps you can highlight areas of concern. Robinvp11 (talk) 12:16, 12 February 2021 (UTC)
