Talk:Boon Gould
This article is rated Stub-class on Wikipedia's content assessment scale. It is of interest to the following WikiProjects: | |||||||||||||||||||||

The reason he is called ‘Boon’ is noteworthy (after all, the page is, wisely, titled with the name he was known by, not his given name). It was included in previous versions and should be reinstated. (His proclivity not to cry when a baby led to an uncle saying he was a ‘boon’ to the family.) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A00:23C6:D00F:6B01:5566:6D6F:7712:EC9D (talk) 10:13, 3 March 2024 (UTC)
Guitar Style
[edit]Does anyone actually know what a "throw away" guitar playing technique actually is? There's no link to support this. This seems odd as the article claims he is known for this technique. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.99.61.197 (talk) 11:52, 6 November 2013 (UTC)
Untitled
[edit]There is a major flaw with this article. I used to know Boon, a bit, and he is not actually known as Rowland Gould. He was only called that for about 6 month. He only uses the name as a publishing name. The title of the article should be 'Boon Gould' and 'Rowland Gould' should redirect to it. After all, article about Cliff Richard and Elton John are not titled with their original names. Boon has not changed his name legally because he has had no need to, nobody calls him Rowland anyway.
POV
[edit]I added the {POV} tag. Here is one sentence from the present article. "Boon is often cited as one of the most underrated guitarists of all time." The addition of some references / sources, and less fancruft would greatly help this currently non-encyclopedic piece. Thanks,

Fair use rationale for Image:Level42 members.jpg
[edit]Image:Level42 members.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
