Riverina and Southern Tablelands
[edit]How can the Southern Tablelands be part of the Riverina Region? They are two totally different regions? I'm going to put Bookham under the Southern Tablelands region as Yass Valley Shire is strongly more associated with that region, rather than the Riverina. --Xcharliex89 (talk) 06:15, 11 November 2009 (UTC)
- Just because it's within the Yass Valley Shire doesn't mean that it's not part of the Riverina. Bookham is more of a border region town/village where the South West Slopes, Riverina and the Southern Tablelands meet. Bidgee (talk) 07:24, 11 November 2009 (UTC)
- Fair enough, however, the way you have worded it - its awkward and seems to suggest to me that the Southern Tablelands is part of the Riverina Region - when they do not. They are considered different regions. The Tablelands is not a mini-region of the Riverina. I understand that the regions intersect in the locality of and around Bookham, however, I think it is also unfair to dismiss the Southern Tablelands template when ultimately the majority of the Yass Shire is within the Southern Tablelands. I've formally recognised both regions and included both templates of the different regions on this page. Cheers! --Xcharliex89 (talk) 11:30, 11 November 2009 (UTC)
