Problems With Sources
[edit]I like the new updates! But I'm not sure how valid some of them are. The BPI website doesn't list so many certifications for the UK. Please see sources I added. It lists Faster Than the Speed of Night as only going silver. And no other albums being certified until Greatest Hits (2001) went silver. Also do we really need to note any of the compilations that don't have chart success or quoted sales? A good site for French certifications is http://www.chartsinfrance.net/certifications/ which offers more detail than the yearly additions included on the SNEP website disqueenfrance.com Puckeylut (talk) 03:47, 27 May 2008 (UTC)
- A lot of the German certifications were complete fiction as well, which I've now corrected as per muzikindustrie.de 89.168.18.246 (talk) 02:03, 7 April 2009 (UTC)
n.r. additions
[edit]- Since most everyone is from a shared IP address who edits, I have to contact people here. The "n.r." additions make the page look really messy. We could at least put it as "NR" which is used in other discographies that feel it's necessary to state such things. The "Wings" album was released VIA the internet in the US though, and therefore had the potential to chart so I don't think it should be included as not released in the US. Official compilation title
[edit]Can I please point out to any editors that the 2011 compilation 'Best Of 3 CD' should be entitled exactly as 'Best Of 3 CD' (rather than something like 'Best Of (3 CD)' because that is the official online title on music databases. See on Spotify or Deezer for more information, or contact me. Thanks! Bonnietylersave (talk)22:26, 18 February 2012 (UTC)
