This page does seem to have a solid foundation. However it should include a picture of Nardi and her background history seems sparse. Perhaps the abstract could be cut down a bit and the information could be distributed to different sections in the article. I have yet to receive a response back from Ms. Nardi whether I may upload a photo of her for the page. Hane2 (talk) 02:40, 30 November 2011 (UTC)Hane2[reply]

Egor, Eddie, and myself are assigned to work on Bonnie Nardi's page and plan to distribute the work and fix the following: -adding an appropriate picture -working on removing any possible bias that could come from Nardi's own words -drastically increase the biographical section to include more information on schooling and theories in their developmental stages -include information on her work after receiving her doctorate (for example: evolving/ed opinions) -a more specific focus on her World of Warcraft experiences and research -opposing opinions on her work to include a wider range perspective -add an "interview" as a way to include her thoughts inside of quoting her in the introduction to remove bias from the whole article but allow for a full rounded view of her life and work. 1. The bibliographies on the page need to be in chronological order 2. The information box needs to contain the place of education and place of birth (BigKitty609 (talk) 20:57, 30 November 2011 (UTC))[reply]

I've emailed Bonnie Nardi at her nardi@ics.uci.edu email adress to see if she would prefer/offers a certain picture of herself to be put in the article. Sources: 1. An article in The Orange County Register, “UC Irvine's 'Warcraft' Study Called a Waste" disputes the money and time that Nardi spent on writing My Life as a Night Elf Priest

The TCNJ Library online catalog offers many helpful information databases that may aid us in our research efforts. In AnthroSource, I found an article in the American Anthropologist Journal, written by Nardi during her earlier life and work. In this, she explores the relationship between population growth in third world countries and examines their abilities for self-regulation. This is the following link: http://ezproxy.tcnj.edu:2493/Abstract.aspx?issn=0002-7294&volume=83&issue=1&supplement=0&article=291837&jstor=False&cyear=1981

I found Nardi's website to be particularly helpful as well. She posts blogs frequently and has informative introductions on the concepts of activity theory and computer-mediated communication.

There are some random, yet noticeable minor, grammar mistakes that need to be taken care of. In addition, the abstract of Ms. Nardi seems a bit crowded with information. This will be distributed into newly made sections.Hane2 (talk) 01:48, 21 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The page is a bit more pleasant to look at with organized sections of her page. I have merely moved around pre-existing bits of information in order avoid the clutter and disorganization. I hope other editors will add to these new divisions and ultimately make this a more informative and accurate page.Hane2 (talk) 02:13, 21 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
