[edit]So they claim to be a Bolivarian guerrilla group "fighting" for Bolivarianism, and its suggested that they could be tied to the Venezuelan government? I have to admit that doesn't make a lot of sense? If they are tied to Chavez, than who are they fighting? Also are they carried out any real combat operations?
I second this. The article probably leaves the reader more confused that before they came upon it. I will try to expand on it soon. Alexmunger (talk) 20:26, 19 September 2016 (UTC)
Translation of the name
[edit]I'm pretty sure someone just threw the Spanish name into Google Translate. "Fuerzas Bolivarianas de Liberación" would be best translated as "Bolivarian Liberation Forces". Typically, English doesn't follow the Spanish convention of prepositions as a descriptor unless its a proper noun ("Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia"). "Ejército Libertador" is likewise best translated as "Liberation Army". Even Google translate agrees there. If there is no objection, we should consider changing the title, considering there are very few articles that link here at present. Alexmunger (talk) 20:35, 19 September 2016 (UTC)
