[edit]"For the Bois Blanc Island commonly called Boblo Island see Bois Blanc Island (Ontario)"--actually, both Bois Blancs are commonly pronounced Boblo. What to do? –Rodii 8 July 2005 23:29 (UTC)
- Can you provide any verifiable evidence that the Bois Blanc Island in Mackinac County is commonly called Boblo Island? A very quick Google search did not turn up anything. If it is only a pronunciation variation, I'm not sure how important it is to mention. I suppose if it is verifiable common to refer to both islands as Boblo Island, then that could become a disambiguation page. Otherwise it might make more sense to mention on Bois Blanc Island (Ontario) that the name of the other Bois Blanc is also sometime pronouced as Boblo. older≠wiser 15:33, July 10, 2005 (UTC)
- Sure! Well, I hope these count as "verifiable"—just the result of the first page of a quick google search, but representative: [1] [2] [3] (Historical marker) —Rodii 21:00, 1 August 2005 (UTC)
