Station building
[edit]The picture that has been taken, there's a building with a red door in the background, could this have been a station building? It's certainly an oldish building and is close enough to the trackbed. Douglasnicol 23:52, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah the same thought crossed my mind, it's very possible. There's a photo at the RCAHMS site, taken on 1962 (and funnily enough from near enough the exact spot I took my picture), but unfortunately the area where that building is is covered with steam! Dreamer84 00:27, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
- It's very possible that it's the ticket office or station masters house, since that was the days that stations were manned and weren't glorified bus shelters. I can't be the only one disgusted at the state of our railway network, but that's a discussion for another time. Douglasnicol 15:17, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
