While there are some similarities, Body Heat is quite different from and not a remake of Double Indemnity. Enkido 05:20, 19 November 2005 (UTC)Tom Armstrong[reply]

Can anyone write anything about the different versions of this film? The version I saw on ITV had much stronger content than the version I have on VHS PAL. 81.146.2.36 17:30, 13 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Body Heat movie poster.jpg

[edit]

Image:Body Heat movie poster.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 03:15, 1 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Could someone please add or inform me so I can add it, on how big or low a budget this film was made and more details regarding it`s gross, clearing out how it did financially, also some information regarding production, cause the article seem to be pretty unfiished and it doesn`t really tel people whicch are interested in the history of the production and the reception and wat it meant within filmmakers careers, it doesn`t really tell those people what they wanna know, also how exactly was Lucas involvement and what was he co-producer or co-excecutive producer????? 62.45.130.67 (talk) 23:39, 9 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Very poor referencing.

[edit]

Just on quick clicks there are two examples of very poor referencing here. For one, the link that justifies George Lucas' credit as a producer takes us to TV Tropes, an un sourced wiki that prides itself on it's informality, and is therefore not an authoritative source.

Secondly the estimations of the rentals takes us to a page that doesn't mention Body Heat at all.

I will remove both links. Verlaine76 (talk) 09:21, 28 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure if it would qualify as "original research" but in the original film the final music is from the coda of Rachmaninoff's "The Bells", but does not appear in TV replays of the film. I assume it's because Rachmaninoff's music was still under copyright in 1981. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gcapitalg (talkcontribs) 02:43, 27 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Body Heat. Wheaton High School Yearbook.

[edit]

Who suggested that a Wheaton High School Yearbook be used in the final scene of the movie Body Heat? What connection did that person have with Wheaton High School? Palzgraf (talk) 14:10, 29 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
