Dominator

[edit]

Last time I checked, the dominator and the running powerslam were two entirely different things (but yes, both used as his finisher). They called the inverted powerslam the dominator, but they always called the running powerslam the running powerslam, never the dominator. They should be separated. 3pointswish (talk) 01:14, 29 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

lucha libre

[edit]

i heard froma good source that lashley was to be appearing on lucha libre soon not sure but thats waht he said and said they made a big deal about it last week72.47.109.122 (talk) 05:45, 27 June 2008 (UTC)peezy[reply]

I was watching Lucha Libre this week, and he's on AAA. He's in a stable named La Legión Extranjera where Sabu, that 6pac guy, Kenzo Suzuki and Konnan wrestle as well. I speak Spanish, so I understand it. Even if you don't speak Spanish you know it's him. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.201.159.132 (talk) 23:08, 12 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Bobby Lashley joining TNA.

[edit]

Rumor has that Bobby Lashley was offered a contract with TNA wrestling back in June of 2008. Bobby told TNA he does not want to wrestle for TNA. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Footballer92939 (talkcontribs) 00:24, 20 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fighting out of

[edit]

In his debut last night, the announcer said hes fight out of Parker, Colorado. So if anyone who can edit this page, can go ahead change that, as I can't. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mafy19 (talkcontribs) 00:09, 15 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If that was actually what the announcer said, then with no way to verify if that's true or not without some kind of citation, I would think they'd put in a Billed From: in his bio and put in Parker, Colorado. And as for the field that says where he is REALLY from, that needs to be updated too Originally From: (or whatever), to Colorado Springs, Colorado.98.209.67.70 (talk) 16:32, 20 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Citations

[edit]

The article cites Lashley's WWE profile throughout and that is a dead link because he's not a WWE wrestler anymore. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.76.9.246 (talk) 12:35, 20 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

World Heavyweight Champion?

[edit]

"where he was a one time United States Champion and a two-time World Heavyweight Champion, having had two reigns as ECW World Champion."

Last I checked, Lashley wasn't a world heavyweight champion, so can someone fix that? Armedhamster (talk) 11:17, 8 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned references in Bobby Lashley

[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Bobby Lashley's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 07:46, 20 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Vs. Chad Griggs

[edit]

Stop changing the fight result to "TKO (Punches/Strikes)". The fight wasn't stopped due to punches or strikes, the fight was stopped IN BETWEEN rounds 2 and 3 when Lashley "retired"/quit in his corner. Lashley himself quit, his corner didn't stop the fight, so the official ruling was TKO (Retirement). It's even on his Sherdog fighter profile. [edit]

Is it really appropriate for the search Black Lesnar to redirect to this article? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.164.247.34 (talk) 03:21, 15 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Which rank and position has Bobby Lashley in the U.S. Army ?

[edit]

You can find many descriptions about Bobby Lashley' s time in the U.S. Army but nothing about his last rank, arm of the service and his status as reservist. Could anyone help? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.150.43.43 (talk) 13:41, 25 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Not sure but last news was Staff Sergeant.

overall black world champions

[edit]

as well as the fourth overall black world champion in WWE history (after Rock and Booker T). I suppose the previous champions are the Rock, Booker T, Kofi Kingston and Mark Henry. But that would make Bobby Lashley the fifth overall black world champion, wouldn't it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2003:D9:CF1E:BA00:C9EE:DB9C:E326:8862 (talk) 16:11, 2 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Fourth was the wrong number, but seeing as he won the ECW title in 2006 (when it was still regarded as a world championship), he's actually the third. Only Rock and Booker held a WWE world title beforehand, Henry's WHC run and Kofi's WWEC run came much later. The Kip (talk) 00:21, 3 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The ECW Championship was always viewed as a world championship. I don't understand why people think it wasn't (and just to note, Mark Henry held the ECW Championship before he held the World Heavyweight Championship). But yes, like Kip said, Lashley was actually third, which is reflected in the article. I actually had to fix that the other day because it implied he was the fifth. --JDC808 14:12, 4 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

"thus turning face in the process" (in regards to winning the WWE Championship)

[edit]

In the description for his win last night, this particular edit proclaims that Lashley turned face after he beat The Miz for the title. I understand that Miz played the cowardly heel role in his multiple attempts to avoid defending the title before the lumberjacks came out, but how does that make Lashley a face? He celebrated his win, then put Miz in his submission again after the match, and a little over a week prior, his attack on Drew McIntire was a huge reason Miz was successful when he cashed in his Money in the Bank contract.
