Death of Buntrock's mother?

The article states: “(His [Buntrock’s] mother died at home with cardiac arrest in 1969).” Yet several sources state that Buntrock died on the same bridge that had claimed the life of his mother in a previous auto accident. Here is one such source:

Other sources cite speculation that his death was suicide because of the bizarre “coincidence.” I have no reason to doubt the account in the Wikipedia article.
