Early life

Why would anyone who is nearly 20 have to lie about their age to get into the Army. There's something not quite right about the dates or the statement. 184.91.175.61 (talk) 01:59, 14 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It appears that the actual date is 1907, but that he listed 1903 on his enlistment papers, so the Army's official date is 1903. See [[1]] — Preceding unsigned comment added by 184.91.175.61 (talk) 02:11, 14 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

So what's the position on birth dates that are false but based upon official record? Because the vital info on Brown is based upon Army records and is false. 184.91.175.61 (talk) 02:23, 14 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
