--- This page says it's the second largest wilderness area in the lower 48 after the Frank Church - River of No Return wilderness in Idaho. The Frank Church page says that's the second largest after Death Valley. This page indicates that the length is 22 miles or 64km. I don't know which is correct because those two items don't agree. 22 miles is 35km. 64km is 40 miles.
