@Jengod: I have tagged the lead section of this article as having extra information. See MOS:LEAD for purpose of the lead. It in supposed to provide an accessible overview and summarize the article. Information in the lead should be discussed and expanded upon in the body of the article too. See WP:LEADFOLLOWSBODY. For this article, only one of the names mentioned after the word "but" in the lead is mentioned in the body of the article. Who are the "City Hall Gang", "Kent Parrot", "Zeke Caress", "Tutor Scherer", "Farmer Page", "Charles Cradick", and "Chuck Addison" and what are their significance to Bob Gans? As a reader, assume I know nothing of these people, so need some clues about who they are. The red links to non-existent articles do not help, and may be counter-productive if these people are not very notable. It may be better to describe them in more general terms. Also, mention of the "Gans brothers operation" without the lead mentioning Gans was in business with his brothers is a bit of a Non sequitur that needs more explanation. - Cameron Dewe (talk) 21:55, 6 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
