The term "utility infielder" is misapplied to Bob Aspromonte in this article. It usually implies (i) playing a lot of positions, (ii) playing part-time, or both. Aspromonte was the starting 3rd baseman for the Colts/Astros for 6 consecutive seasons, playing 131 to 155 games in each season. He played 3B in 1094 of his 1230 games.
