Checking against the GA criteria

[edit]
GA review (see here for what the criteria are, and here for what they are not)
  1. It is reasonably well written.
a (prose, no copyvios, spelling and grammar): b (MoS for lead, layout, word choice, fiction, and lists):
The infobox image needs a caption  Done
""Bo" as a child was known as one to pick fights" - try As a child, Bo was known to pick fights (not sure if "Bo" needs quotation marks)  Done
"In McMillin's day of iron man football, he was also a safety man on defense and a kick returner on special teams." - this needs a citation  Done
"During his freshman year, McMillin was also on the track team; on April 27, 1917, he won the 220-yard dash at a Centre interscholastic track meet." - this too needs a citation . Hard to find one - the citation seems to be the medal
" the five man backfield and the cockeyed T" - I have no idea what this means!  Done That's why they are called negligible. I added an explanatory note. Not sure what was "cockeyed" about it myself.
The second paragraph in the Kansas State section needs a citation  Done
Ref 1, 64 and 65 are missing access dates  Done
  2. It is factually accurate and verifiable.
a (reference section): b (citations to reliable sources): c (OR):
    No original research found.
  3. It is broad in its coverage.
    a (major aspects): b (focused):
  4. It follows the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
  5. It is stable.
    No edit wars, etc.:
  6. It is illustrated by images and other media, where possible and appropriate.
a (images are tagged and non-free content have fair use rationales): b (appropriate use with suitable captions):
  7. Overall:
    Pass/Fail:

This was an interesting read. The article is well written and comprehensive, so once all of those minor issues are clarified then this should be good to go. JAGUAR  13:14, 27 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks again. Any better?
Thanks for addressing them! I've just checked through it again and it meets the criteria, so I'll promote this now JAGUAR  21:18, 27 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
