Bo'ame is not in Somaliland. It is in Somalia. Somaliland is a country but a region in Somalia. Sam20200 (talk) 21:52, 13 August 2017 (UTC)

Hello can you revert this article to when it was here [1] that is, before the current version.
If you look at the entire history of this article, it has been stable for a long time with minor variations, however on December 6ths this page was changed to the current version without any sources to backup the edit regarding the content, you would expect some kind of reasoning to justify this change on this scale on the talk page since it was a massive significant alteration from this [2] to the current [3] but no such justification has been brought forward. On the 29th november https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Bo%27ame&action=history] The user Yamaguchi先生 , an administrator correctly changed the protection level and restored the page to a stable version due to persistent disruptions by other users, but this was undone by the subsequent edit which, as i mentioned, was unexplained regarding the content change.
My request is reverting the article back to 29th november by Yamaguchi先生 [4] which was the version of the page which stood for many years as you can see on the edit history, as opposed to the current version. Hope this doesn't sound confusing. CabuuwaaqWanaag (talk) 20:09, 3 January 2018 (UTC)

No somalia gov presence in this region
[edit]@Hawkers994: You wrote "No somalia gov presence in this region" but I do not disagree with you on that point. As you can see from the history, it was I who added the note that Bo'ame is now under Somaliland occupation. However, that does not contradict the fact that the city is in disputed area. There is a place in the Black Sea in Europe called the Crimean Peninsula. The peninsula has been occupied by Russia since 2014, but is generally considered to still be Ukrainian territory. In short, occupying the land is only a condition for determining whether one owns the land, and it is essentially the international community that decides. I mentioned the BBC article regarding Bo'ame's current positioning.[1] The Economist magazine concurs.[2] Freetrashbox (talk) 11:02, 10 February 2023 (UTC)
