Suggested Merge

[edit]

I suggest that Blythe Bridge Signal Box be merged into this article. There was nothing especially noteworthy about Blythe Bridge signal box, and it is not realistic to expect that every signal box that has ever existed will have its own article. Signalling information can be included as a section of the appropriate railway station article, as has been done at Oban railway station, Milngavie railway station and Cumbernauld railway station, for example. I would support the suggested move for the reasons you gave. Blythe Bridge Signal Box is not exactly noteworthy but the value of the merged article would be greatly increased. If the box was a large distance from the station then a move would not have been a good idea but as it happens it was only across the road!
