Claim denial

[edit]

I've put back the information about the attempted claim denial. Per Wikipedia:Notability, "These notability guidelines only outline how suitable a topic is for its own article." No one is proposing an article about "Rosalinda Miran-Ramirez claim denial", so Wikipedia:Notability does not apply. This received mainstream press coverage, and is worth including. Superm401 - Talk

You're right, I should have been more precise: it's a blatant issue of wp:undue. Wikipedia is not a newswire. Four mainstream local media stories do not elevate the incident to one that has a notable impact on Blue Shield of California. If you want to include content on rescission, or the broader issues of denied claims, I think you'll find ample sourcing and it'd be more than due. As it is, this is a single event with almost no mainstream media coverage, and it just doesn't belong. Why did you insert this? Do you think that this single event is actually notable to someone looking for encyclopedic information on Blue Shield of California?

Advert/Promotional/NPOV

[edit]

I added the Advert template to this article because it contains nearly zero useful information but is full of select facts about how great Blue Shield is, how everyone loves them, and what a wonderful and progressive history they have. Darkest tree (talk) 17:39, 14 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
