Blue October (United Kingdom) → Blue October (Essex band) – We don't use United Kingdom as a disambiguator in any articles, UK:PLACE uses county, which is most common in UK usage, as common in the UK as state is in the U.S. Zarcadia (talk) 19:52, 22 February 2014 (UTC)

- Oppose a move to Blue October (Essex band) as simultaneously vague and overprecise. Support a move to Blue October (British band) using the normal disambiguator in such cases. Scroll down this list of search results to see hundreds of similar examples. — AjaxSmack 03:09, 23 February 2014 (UTC)
- Oppose Agree with AjaxSmack, Blue October (Essex band) isn't terribly helpful with disambiguation given the number of different places called Essex. Support a move to Blue October (British band).--Labattblueboy (talk) 05:12, 23 February 2014 (UTC)
- Comment, I'm happy to go with the consensus and move to Blue October (British band). BTW, Labattblueboy you do realize that we have a WP:PRIMARYTOPIC for Essex? Zarcadia (talk) 06:10, 23 February 2014 (UTC)
- Well aware, but just because it's the lead doesn't mean that "Essex band" doesn't suffer ambiguity issues.--Labattblueboy (talk) 06:17, 23 February 2014 (UTC)
- Support move to Blue October (British band). Usual disambiguator for non-geographic British articles is simply "British" unless there's more than one. -- Necrothesp (talk) 23:00, 26 February 2014 (UTC)
