Sale of Bloodshot
[edit]I propose to add (back) text explaining that ongoing acrimony between the two remaining partners, Miller and Warshaw, led to the sale. I seek comments from other interested editors about this idea.
For a few months (or several years), this article did contain such text, but that text has has since been deleted, although I'm not sure when, why, or by whom. That text had been well sourced via citations of Chicago newspaper articles, such as in the Chicago Reader and the Chicago Tribune. The details and causes of the acrimony might or might not be important enough for this article, but the existence of that acrimony is important because it had significant consequences for some of the recording artists whe ended up having to suddenly find other record labels to release their albums. Although citable sources might not (yet) have said so, it appears likely that under the new ownership Bloodshot will not be issuing any further new recordings.
