Contesting the Speedy deletion of Bloodletting Press

[edit]

This page does not meet the criteria for speedy deletion. I have no affiliation with Bloodletting Press. They publish important and groundbreaking works in the Horror genre. "Breeder" by Douglas Clegg, "Rage" by Steve Gerlach, "Succulent Prey" by Wrath James White, and "Terminal" by Brian Keene have all been significant contributions to the Horror genre. As they were first published by Bloodletting Press, the publisher is now recognized as advancing new horror authors and ideas within the horror genre. This article does list in encyclopedic fashion the list of publications. The article does need to be expanded to further explain the significance. Ok then, make some minor adjustments to the article :D Shicoco (talk) 06:46, 12 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Also, you have no sources, and the article is not neutral Shicoco (talk) 06:48, 12 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The first paragraph is advertisementish :D Shicoco (talk) 06:49, 12 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, will rewrite paragraph to make it less advertisementish and more on significance of publications. And quote some reviews and articles as I find them. Then we should be all good. Iguardthesheep (talk) 07:01, 12 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This is nuts. This is exactly the type of page I would want to find if I were a fan of Bloodletting Press books, just as I've looked up Baen Books on Wikipedia. Editors, when you have an issue with a page, one line almost never suffices to explain it such that the original editor can work with it. RipplingBeast (talk) 08:25, 12 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
